GAME OF THRONESTM: The Touring Exhibition Ticket Competition
These pages set out the terms and conditions of participation in the GAME OF THRONESTM: The Touring Exhibition Ticket Competition as run by Tourism Ireland.
Please read these Terms carefully, by participating in this competition you agree to be bound by these Terms. Tourism Ireland reserves the right to exclude participants from this competition in the event of a breach of these Conditions.
The organiser of this competition is Tourism Ireland, Registered in No. 336370, Bishop’s Square, Redmond’s Hill, Dublin D02 TD99.
2. Eligibility for Participation
No purchase necessary to enter. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. Void outside Canada and where prohibited by law. This promotion is open to all legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are both 18+ and over the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of the competition. Employees of Tourism Ireland, TBL International, GES Events, and HBO (the “Promotion Entities”), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising, tourism and promotional agencies and their respective officers, directors and agents (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Contest subject to all applicable provincial/territorial and local laws and regulations. Void outside Canada and where prohibited by law. If you are eligible to win this prize you must correctly complete a skill-testing question, to be determined by the Sponsor/Administrator, before being granted the prize package and must sign a standard waiver and release and agree that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions of this contest. The participant is the person who is the owner of the email address which is used for the participation in the competition. Participation is free of charge and independent from the purchase of goods or services. By participating in the competition, the user accepts these Conditions.
Participants must enter the competition on Tourism Ireland’s website via the means outlined below:
• Complete the web form on the competition page and answer the question correctly to be entered
• During the Promotional Period, people can enter using the online entry form on Tourism Ireland’s website (https://www.ireland.com/en-ca/articles/campaign/game-of-thrones-touring-exhibition/ ) where they can enter the contest by completing the online form and including the following information: name, email address, province and permission for Tourism Ireland to contact them regarding this prize. All entries received after the Promotional Period ends will be void. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address during the Promotional Period. If it is discovered that you attempted to (i) enter more than once per person/email address; or (ii) use more than one (1) email address to enter the contest; then you will be disqualified from the Contest and all of your entries will be void. Use of any automated system to enter is prohibited and will automatically result in disqualification.
Tourism Ireland reserves the right to exclude any participant from the competition if there is any indication of misbehaviour, improper conduct, fraud or inappropriate acts before or during participant’s presence. Likewise, the organisation reserves the right to withdraw the participation of any contestant in the case of the use of fraudulent mechanisms to participate in this competition (including but not limited to false identity, wrong age, address etc.) The organisation reserves the right to request official documents to prove the identity of the participants in the case of them being winners.
4. Promotional Period
The competition will take place between 10th of April 2019 10:00am – 20th of May 2019 23:59pm EST.
The prize consists of 1 pair of tickets for entry to GAME OF THRONESTM: The Touring Exhibition in TEC Belfast for use from April – September 2019, subject to availability. Date and time for use of winning tickets must be booked in advance by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org with your prize winner’s reference number. Return flights from the prize winner’s nearest gateway in Canada to Dublin (subject to availability) and a 4 night hotel stay (2 nights in Maldron Hotel Belfast, 2 nights in Maldron Hotel Derry) are also included in the prize. Hotel is subject to availability, excluding event dates and bank holidays. In the event of non-availability, the organiser reserves the right to draw the prizes for other participants.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Sponsor/Administrator. Sponsor/Administrator takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor/Administrator and will not be returned.
7. Drawing of the Prizes and Notification
The winners of the competition will be determined by a random draw from all participants by Tourism Ireland on 27th of May 2019 at 10:00am in Toronto, Ontario . Only the prize (described in more detail in 5) will be awarded. A cash payment of the real value or an exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferrable and non-refundable. The prize winners will be informed by the 27th of May 2019 at 15:00pm in Toronto, Ontario via email. Upon receipt of the notification the potential winner must confirm acceptance of the prize and submit the personal data required by Tourism Ireland no later than by 31st of May 2019 by 17:00pm otherwise Tourism Ireland is entitled to determine a new potential winner.
Tourism Ireland reserves the right to modify the conditions of the competition at any time, including its possible cancellation before the deadline, or at any time if dysfunctions, interferences, falsifications, viruses or similar serious damage occurs and fundamentally impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity or procedures of the competition. No claims may be derived from modifications or cancellations to the conditions. Should individual provisions of the Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining Conditions remains unaffected. The Conditions as well as the participation itself are governed by the law of the United Kingdom. The place of jurisdiction is Northern Ireland.
No cash redemption of the prize. No transfer of the prize. Prize may not be substituted, except by Sponsor/Administrator for a prize or a prize component of equal or greater value, in its sole discretion. Prize may be different from that pictured in advertising. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor/Administrator and its designees to use winner’s name and likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes in any and all media now and hereafter known without additional notice or compensation unless prohibited by law. Winner acknowledges that neither the Contest Entities nor their directors, employees, or agents, have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers’/suppliers’ terms thereof, and winners agree to look solely to such suppliers of goods or services for any such warranty and/or guarantee. By participating in this promotion, all entrants agree to these official rules, and understand that the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next selected entrant if the winner is not able to claim this prize or if not eligible for this competition.
Contest Entities are not responsible for (a.) Lost, late, delayed, misdirected, unintelligible or incomplete electronic mail; (b.) Telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (c.) Errors in transmission, any condition caused by events beyond the control of Tourism Ireland that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted; and (d.) Entries not received in the event of participants not successfully completing the entering mechanism supplied.
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually and without resort to any form of class action. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, excluding attorneys’ fees. Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses. Where permitted by law, this Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflicts of law principles and all entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of Province of Ontario for the resolution of all claims and disputes.

Participation in this competition implies acceptance of these rules. By participating in this competition, participants agree, to release and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities and their respective agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses caused by, arising out of, or related to their participation in the competition and/or their participation in any Prize-related activities (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).

This activity is in no way sponsored, promoted or otherwise supported by Facebook/Instagram/Twitter and is in no way related to Facebook/Instagram/Twitter. Consequently, you indemnify Facebook/Instagram/Twitter against any claims concerning this activity. You acknowledge that you transfer your data and comments to Tourism Ireland and not to Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.
This promotion takes every precaution to protect users’ information. When users submit electronic information, their information is protected online by firewall software. Offline, all of our users’ information is restricted to our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
