Sing in duet with one of Véronic’s voices! (the competition “)

From September 15 at 8:00 pm to November 3, 2017 at 11:59 pm EDT (the “Contest Period”),

Radio-Canada
and Attraction images (the “Partner”)

1. TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
No purchase required. To enter the Contest, entrants must visit the Radio-Canada website at the following address: Radio-Canada.ca/icionchante/ (the ” Website “), complete the registration form and provide a video of one short personal voice performance during the Contest Period.
Participants must submit their video on the Website and provide their name and any information requested (the ” Participation “),

To be valid, entries must be received by Friday, November 3 at 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time .

Limit of one Participation per person per email address, for the duration of the Contest. A single email address can not be used by more than one participant. Only one email address may be used to enter the Contest regardless of the number of e-mail addresses held by the entrant. Any person who participates in or attempts to enter the Contest more than once, or who uses a robotic, automatic, mechanical, electronic or other duplication method not authorized under these rules shall be deemed to have made an attempt to tamper with or manipulate, which will automatically result in disqualification.

All Participations become the property of Radio-Canada and will not be returned to participants.

Participation :
Any Participation is subject to the terms and conditions of use of the radio-canada.ca site, which can be found at http://www.radio-canada.ca/apropos/politiquesDiffusions/#Inscription.

Radio-Canada reserves the right to disqualify any Participation deemed inappropriate or unsuitable for its audience.
The digital video files submitted must have a minimum duration of one (1) minute and must have a maximum allowable weight of 200 MB.

2. CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be resident in Canada and have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the start of the Contest.

The employees of the CBC, the Partner and their affiliates, as well as members of their immediate family (father-in-law, sibling-in-law, son-daughter) and persons living under the same roof are not eligible for the Contest.
The stage performance of the winner with Véronic DiCaire will be broadcast on the show ICI on chante . A contestant must consent to release his or her rights to this broadcast, depending on the terms and conditions of use of radio-canada.ca. Failing that, he / she will not be able to participate in the Contest.

3. METHOD OF AWARDING THE PRIZE
A selection will be made during the week of November 6, 2017 in Montreal from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period .
A Jury (the ” Jury “) shall consist of three (3) persons who are part of the production team of the program ICI on chante .
The Jury will consider all eligible entries received during the Contest Period and will select the winner based on the following criteria:

Voice Talent
Right voice
Originality of the application
Respect of the minimum duration requested

The decisions of the CBC and the production team are final and without appeal.

The selected entrant will be contacted by phone as soon as the Jury’s decision is made. Participants must claim their prize according to the instructions of Radio-Canada within a maximum period of five (5) days from the date they are contacted.
In the event that the selected Participant can not be contacted within five (5) days of the first contact attempt, or if the selected Entrant refuses the prize or fails to return the completed Certificate and Release form, Participant will automatically lose its prize and the CBC may, at its sole discretion, designate another winner.

4. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIZE
Prices (1)
– One (1) trip to Lyon in France for two (2) persons from 1 st to 4 December 2017, including:

– The unrivaled chance to perform on stage in duet with Véronic DiCaire during his show in Lyon on Sunday, December 3, 2017. This performance will be recorded and broadcast on the program ICI on sunday on December 15, 2017 on ICI Radio -Canada TV. The whole is of inestimable and non-cash value;
– Two (2) tickets for the Voices show by Véronic DiCaire, presented at the Amphitheater – Lyon Convention Center, Sunday, December 3, 2017;
– Two (2) one-way tickets – Montreal, Lyon, in economy class;
– Two (2) return Paris – Montreal economy class tickets, including two (2) Lyon – Paris train tickets;
– Two (2) nights accommodation in double occupancy in Lyon including breakfasts, in a 4-star establishment selected by the Partner;
– Transfers between the airport and the hotel;
– An amount established by the Partner as a lump sum allowance for meals.

The price includes only what is specifically described herein and no other allowance is granted. The winner and the accompanying person must, in particular, but without limitation, assume all the following expenses:

– Meals and beverages during their stay in excess of the amount allocated by the Partner;
– The cost of transporting the winner’s home to and from the Montreal airport and during their stay in Lyon;
– Expenses for activities during their stay, other than those included in the price description;
– Additional costs on board the plane (headphones, alcohol, etc.);
– Excess baggage fees, if any;
– The insurance;
– All personal expenses.

Should the winner and the accompanying person not be available during the above-mentioned period, the prize will be canceled without any form of compensation and a new draw may be made. The Partner reserves the right to modify the travel dates without prior notice. The winner and the accompanying person must hold or obtain at their own expense a valid passport. In the event that the winner and the accompanying person are not available because they do not have the necessary travel documents, the prize is canceled without any form of compensation and a new draw can be made among the other finalists.
It is the winner’s responsibility to confirm flight schedules twenty-four (24) hours prior to departure.
In the event of non-boarding of the winner and of the person accompanying him for the return flight for any reason whatsoever, CBC and the Contest Sponsor are released from all liability and of all expenses related to this non-boarding, such as hotel, restaurant, taxi, telephone and allowances related to the absence from work of the winner. All costs will be borne by the winner and can not be the subject of a complaint with the CBC and the Partner.

5. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
5.1 To be declared a winner, the entrant selected by lot must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question.
5.2 The winner must sign a Certification and Release form attesting to his / her eligibility for the Contest, in accordance with the conditions set out in section 2 of these Contest Rules and in which he or she consents to the use of his / her name, image and / or voice / are used without compensation for the promotion of the Contest, and releases CBC, the Partner and their affiliates, and their respective directors, officers and employees (the ” Contest Organizers “) from any and all liability for damages or losses that may arise from their participation in thisContest or the award, acceptance or use of the prize awarded.
The person accompanying the winner must sign an Attestation and Release form in which he / she agrees that his or her name, image and / or voice is used / used without compensation for the promotion of the Contest, and releases the Organizers of the Contest from any liability for damages or losses that may arise from the use of the prize awarded to the winner.
5.3 The Prize must be accepted as such and may not be exchanged, refunded, sold or transferred. No substitution will be granted. Any unused portion of a prize will be canceled.
5.4 In the event that it is impossible to provide the prize exactly as described in these rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to substitute a prize or an item of approximately equivalent value in their sole discretion.
5.5 Refusal to accept the Prize releases the Contest Organizers from any obligation to a winner.
5.6 Any false declaration by a participant automatically results in his disqualification from the Contest.
5.7 The Contest Organizers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury of any kind, including but not limited to : (i) Participations lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, destroyed, illegible or incomplete; (ii) the loss, theft or loss of integrity of computer or computer software or data, including breaches of privacy; (iii) fraudulent calls; (iv) the inability of any person to participate in the Contest for any reason, including errors in postal or e-mail addresses, computer or telephone malfunctions, or any other problem with the operation of online computer systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; congestion problems on the Internet or any other website, or any combination of the above; v) damage to any person’s computer equipment, including those resulting from the use or downloading of any Content related to the Contest; (vi) any delay or inability to act due to an event or situation beyond their control, including a strike, lock-out or other labor dispute at their organizations or enterprises whose services are used for the conduct ofcompetition; (vii) loss, breakage or misdirection of prizes during transport, or (viii) loss, damage, defects, or inability to use the Prize once awarded to the winner due to any reason .
5.8 When the Contest rules allow the use of a social media such as Facebook or Twitter to participate, participants are informed that the social media and each of its officers and agents do not assume any responsibility whatsoever with the holding of the competition. The processing of personal information and materials provided in connection with the Contest is the exclusive responsibility of the CBC. However, by participating via a social media, all the rules governing the use of it find application.
5.9 Radio-Canada reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Contest if a virus, bug or other factor beyond its reasonable control violates the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to intentionally cause damage to any website or to interfere with the legitimate operation of this Contest constitutes a violation of criminal and civil laws. In such cases, the CBC reserves the right to seek redress through any legal means at its disposal, including a remedy for damages or under the Criminal Code.
5.10 Personal information provided by participants, including their name and contact information, is collected solely for the purposes of administering the and shall not be used for any other purpose without their consent. 5.11 In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a participant, the authorized account holder of the email account at the time the Participation was submitted will be deemed to be the participant. The person who received the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A random entrant may be required to provide proof that he / she is the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the Participation. All Entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that can be identified by a reverse lookup of the domain name. The time and date of sending a Contest Entry to determine the validity of this entry will be determined solely by the Contest Server.
5.12 Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Radio-Canada reserves the right to disqualify all incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, unauthorized entries submitted by automated or robotic sending methods that artificially increase the chances of winning or which do not strictly comply with the Contest Rules. Radio-Canada assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the printing of material or advertising related to the Contest.
5.13 Radio-Canada reserves the right to modify or terminate the Contest Rules at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever in respect of any entrant. Changes to the Contest Rules will be posted on the Website.
5.14 By entering the Contest, entrants agree to comply with these rules and the decisions of the CBC that will be responsible for the application. All decisions are final and binding.
