Adventure Canada – Win a cruise for 2 onboard the Ocean Endeavour

Rules and regulations specific to this prize:

Cruise and return charter flight reservations from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, to Toronto, Canada must be made at least 30 days prior to departure (by no later than June 14, 2019).

All travel must take place on the Adventure Canada expedition, In the Wake of the Vikings: A journey from Iceland to Greenland, sailing July 14–25. 2019.

Prize winner will be asked to provide a credit card upon check in on board the ship for incidental expenses not covered in this prize;
The prize may not be used toward any airline mileage accumulation program;
All federal, provincial and local taxes on prizes and all expenses related to acceptance and use of prizes, not otherwise specified, are solely the responsibility of winners;
At their own expense, and prior to making any travel arrangements, the winner and guest must be in possession of valid travel documentation satisfactory to Canadian and Iceland and Greenland authorities.

THIS PRIZE INCLUDES:

· Passage for two persons on board the Ocean Endeavour in a category cabin 8, based on double occupancy;

· One-way charter flight for two from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, to Toronto, Ontario;

· All shipboard meals;

· Complimentary expedition jacket;

· Special access permits, entry and park fees;

· Team of expedition staff, guided activities, sightseeing and community visits, and all Zodiac excursions;

· Pre-departure materials;

· Educational programs, interactive workshops, and Nikon Camera Trial Program;

· Evening entertainment;

· Applicable taxes and credit card fees;

· Port fees and possible fuel surcharges;

· Contribution to Adventure Canada’s Discovery Fund;

· Airport transfers for winner and companion between the Reykjavík Airport and the ship on embarkation day and between Kangerlussuaq Airport and the ship on disembarkation day.

THIS PRIZE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

· Commercial flights between Toronto and the winner’s and companion’s gateway airport(s);

· One-way air transportation for winner and companion from Toronto to Reykjavík, Iceland;

· Gratuities;

· Personal expenses;

· Mandatory medical evacuation insurance;

· Additional expenses in the event of delays or itinerary changes;

· Pre- and post-trip hotel accommodation.

The prize winner and travelling companion are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein including, without limitation, all air departure taxes, in-flight meals, beverages and entertainment fees, additional checked-in luggage surcharge, ground transportation, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, travel insurance, all personal expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to meals, beverages, tips, personal expenses, retail store, spa or activities purchased on board the ship, together with any applicable overnight layover. Flight and cruise dates are subject to change without notice or compensation. The winner and travelling companion are also solely responsible for all air transportation costs between their local gateway airport and Toronto, Ontario, as well as between Toronto and Reykjavík Airport, Iceland, as the prize originates there. It is the sole responsibility of the prize winner and his/her travelling companion to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports prior to making any travel arrangements.

This prize must not be sold, is non-transferable, has no cash value, and must be accepted as awarded or will be considered null and void. Any request for a refund will not be considered. Any participating sponsor reserves the right to offer a comparable trip in the event of an Act of God, or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel dates will not be extended.

ELIGIBILITY:

This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada, excluding Québec residents, who have attained the age of 21 and are in good health.* Exclusions also include employees of DREAMSCAPES TRAVEL AND LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE, and sponsoring or affiliated companies and persons with whom they are domiciled. Approximate retail value of this prize is $39,700 CDN. Only one entry per person is permitted. Any entrant with multiple entries will void participation. Entries that do not contain full contact information will be considered invalid.

DREAMSCAPES TRAVEL AND LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE and sponsors reserve the right to cancel this contest at any time. The odds of winning depend on the total number of correct entries received. The draw will take place at the DREAMSCAPES office at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 31 with the winner being notified by phone on Monday, June 3, 2019. Contest is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial and municipal laws. Contest void where prohibited.
